If you achieved a 75% in your 12th board exams and a 95% in your 10th board exams, you are eligible to apply for a B.Sc. in Biotechnology at Lovely Professional University (LPU). Eligibility criteria of B.Sc. (Biotechnology) is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2  (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent. Candidates who have not studied English as a subject may be exempt from the English language requirement if they have studied in an English medium in their qualifying exam. (5% relaxation applies to candidates from North East states, Sikkim, Defence Personnel and their Dependents, and Wards of Kashmiri Migrants).You can register from the official website of LPU. 

LPU does offers two programmes under Biotechnology courses i.e Regular and Honours. To get an Admission into any one programplease follow the Eligibility criteria which is as follows:--Eligibility Criteria of Bsc (Biotechnology):--Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent.For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.(5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)Eligibility Criteria of Bsc-Hons (Biotechnology):--Eligibility CriteriaPass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent.For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.(5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)Student can exit after 3 years with B.Sc. degree, subject to fulfilling the applicable university policy.

LPU receives the highest NAAC grade i.e. A+ with 3.68 crore on 4 point scale as per the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The university offers B.Sc. (Biotechnology) programme which constructing strong basic foundation in concepts of biological sciences and inculcating the skill to translate their theoretical knowledge in tackling the scientific and societal challenges. It has duration of 3 years. The eligibility criteria is -Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2  (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent.For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. Moreover, for enroll in this course you need to follow below mentioned admission process - Step 1 - Sign up Step 2 - Take admission  Step 3 - Apply LPUNEST (for Scholarship) Step 4 - Book the Exam Slot and Appear  I hope this helps,  Thank you.

Here I would like to share admission process to enroll in this programme -  Step 1 - Signup  - First, you need to Register yourself via admission.lpu.in,  onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal STEP 2 -  Take Admission-   Deposit initial payment. After the successful realization of the payment , a Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID. • Upload the documents. Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university . Step 3- Apply LPUNEST (for Scholarship)  - Deposit the test fee: Fill the test application form. STEP 4- Book the Exam Slot and Appear  - Book the slot (preferred venue, date and time) to appear in the LPUNEST Exam.
