Applicants must have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) with a minimum aggregate in relevant subjects, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics from a recognised board. In addition to meeting the academic prerequisites, candidates are required to secure a qualifying score in the LPUNEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test) an internal assessment designed to evaluate their aptitude and subject knowledge, ensuring that only the most promising students are selected for the program. The selection process at LPU is a multifaceted procedure combining merit-based evaluation and performance in the LPUNEST. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to take the entrance test which assesses their academic understanding and problem-solving capabilities in the domains of Science and biotechnology. Furthermore, the university offers scholarships based on entrance test scores thereby encouraging academically proficient students to pursue their studies with financial support. The final selection is contingent upon the candidate's overall performance in the entrance test, academic background and in some cases, personal interviews, thus ensuring that the most qualified and capable students are admitted to the biotechnology program.

Programme Details- Duration :2 yrs.
