Both the streams are different. Biotechnology is a course that deals with plant biology, genetic engineering, modified and genetic food and crops, agriculture biotechnology and bioinformatics. On the other hand, CSE is a four-year engineering course that includes computer knowledge like computer languages, websites, designing new apps and new software. Both fields are good for bright future, but you have to find your interest in one of them. Job opportunities in both streams are good. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) at both Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary (classes X and XII levels. Biology, Physics & Chemistry as main subjects at 10+2 level, with a minimum aggregate score of 60%in these three. And for Engineering
Biotechnology is said to be a combination of biology and technology and it is an applied Science. The basic eligibility for this course is a pass in 10+2 with subjects like mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology etc. All the best.
