For Biotechnology Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 75 students who applied to placements, 65 students were placed meaning almost 90% placement for Biotechnology which is astonishing considering the fact many core Companies rolling out offers. The minimum salary offered was 3.5 LPA. The average salary was 7 LPA and the maximum salary was 18 LPA for biotechnology specialisation. All these figures pop out a good reputation at NIT-Warangal. B.Tech course is the better option. Selection will be on the basis of the engineering entrance examination and marks obtained in Plus Two or equivalent examinations in Science subjects. No, there is no entrance exam to get seat for biotechnology at Symbiosis. You need to appear in the personal interview round after completion of application form.

Yes, since you have completed B.Sc in biotechnology, you are definitely eligible for M.Sc degree in Geneti Engineering as it is a specialised branch in the same.
