It will be a bit cut throat for admission into Osmania University (OU)or other top colleges, if you have 65 marks in CPGET for the Biotechnology subject. That being said, it can happen considering the combined cutoff, seat available and category wise reservations. Counselling process and cutoffs trends must be known in advance. Even more if possible to better your chances of acceptance at one campus. Finally, seek advice from counselors and initiate this application process so that you can learn what your choices are. Be optimistic and ready to other schools too.

With your credentials, you can apply for teaching positions in academic institutions, work in biotech companies as a researcher and developer, or pursue a Ph.D. in biotechnology. Furthermore, looking into positions in bioinformatics, pharmaceuticals, or environmental consulting may be worthwhile.

Graduates of IILM University in Greater Noida's B.Tech in Biotechnology (Computational Biology) program have found employment in biotech companies, pharmaceutical companies, and research, with a moderate degree of success in placement. Still, with more established industry ties and higher placement rates, UPES Dehradun often has a stronger biotechnology placement record. If placements are a top priority, UPES Dehradun might provide better options.

If your four-year integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. programme includes relevant disciplines like biology, biotechnology, or related fields, then you can absolutely pursue an M.Sc. in biotechnology. Universities have different standards for admission, therefore you might have to fulfill prerequisites like minimum grade requirements or entrance examinations. Examine the prerequisites for admission to the colleges you are considering. Gaining more experience in biotechnology-related fields will also improve your application.

Yes, Amity University Lucknow does offers BSc in Biotechnology as an three year undergraduate course. The course curriculum includes subjects such as Molecular Biology,  Genetics, Cell Biology, Bioinformatics,  Microbiology, Immunology, Bioprocess Engineering,  Biochemistry, and Biostatistics. BSc in Biotechnology is offered under the Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Lucknow. Admission to the programme is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam.
