Birla Institute of Management Technology  (BIMTECH) offers a two-year PGDM/MBA course in both online and offline modes across four specialisations including Insurance Business Management, Retail Management and International Business. For admission to MBA course at BIMTECH, candidate must fulfil the minimum educational requirements. To be eligible for this course, aspirants must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate. However, Admission to the MBA course is completely entrance-based. The final selection is based on the performance of candidates in the Personal Interview (PI) round conducted at the college. The merit list for admission is prepared on the basis of past academic profile, CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT score as applicable for different programmes and the performance in selection process. Some additional weightage is also given to the eligible candidates on the basis of their work experience & social profile to bring diversity and inclusiveness in the selection process. The domicile certificate issued by a competent authority or copy of passport/Aadhar etc. can be submitted as an additional document. (Applicable only to the candidates coming from other than UP & NCR Region).#For getting ESCS category weightage, relevant certificate issued by a competent authority for EWS/SC/ST/OBC/Minority Communities (Muslim/Sikh/Christian/Buddhist/Parsi/Jain) has to be submitted. At BIMTECH, students can pursue the PGDM course across several specialisations such as International Relations, Retail Management, Insurance Business Management and more. Additionally, students are also offered a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). Professionals who have a working experience of at least five years at a managerial or equivalent post can apply for the Executive Fellow Programme in Management. Please note in the event of an inappropriate break (without work experience) after your Graduation, you will be required to provide a justification during the selection process. Having work experience between Graduation and year of PGDM admission shall be treated as valid.
