If you want to pursue PGDM from BIMTECH, you need atleast 75 percentile in CAT. Placements are pretty good. College is worth spending so much,

Bimtech has a good reputation and it lies under good B school in India. Average placement of college is around 6.5 lpa for the batch 2014-2016

No , it's not compulsory to use that sim. It depends on you which sim you want to use. Some of the students from our batch had not taken that sim.
