Companies for retail are Aditya Birla retail, oyesterconnect, etc. Joining pgdm rm is wise decision if you want to build your carrier in marketing field particularly for retail. As more MNCs are coming in India their is need of retail outlets which inturn make a positive effect in placements.

As today big MNCs are flooding india so they need outlets to sale their products and here retail come into picture. Generally people selected are for middle management who looks after the work that employees are doing and keep a watch on how to increase the credibility of stores. They are basically related to outlets.

Profile depends on the specialization you choose after taking PGDM- IB. Their are many profile that are offered to finance students. Some of the profiles are in investment, consultancy , etc.

Placements in retail marketing are good . Very few students are left from batch 2014-2016 for getting placed. The highest package is around 19 lpa and avearage being 7 lpa.
