Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Noida is usually ranked as Tier 2. While it is a member of the elite Birla family of institutes, it is far from carrying the same prestige as many of India's higher-ranked institutions such as the IITs or NITs that are classified as Tier 1. BIT Noida provides quality education, especially in the field of engineering and management, but overall recognition and placement packages are deemed a tier below Tier 1. But still, it maintains a very strong academic foundation and ensures great careers for its students.

The Birla Institute of Technology Noida has not released the exact figures of placement records but according to a source the average package offered was around 3-6 Lakhs per annum and the highest package offered to students of BCA was around INR 12 LPA, note that these figures are not exact you can have an estimate regarding packages. Some of the top recruiters companies includes, TCS, Aspire Systems, Infosys, Wipro and Deloitte. The Birla Institute of Technology Noida does not accepts any entrance exam scores for pursuing Bachelor of Business Administration BBA course. To be eligible for admission candidates must have passed their 12th class or equivalent from a recognised board with minimum aggregate of 50% for general category students and 45% for SC/ST/PwD students. To be eligible for admission for Bachelor of Computer Application BCA programme offered by Birla Institute of Technology Noida you need to meet the eligibility criteria that is candidates must have passed their 12th class or equivalent exam from a recognised board with minimum aggregate of 50% whereas for SC/ST/PwD 45%. According to the report of NIRF Rankings session of 2022 the college has been ranked # 58th out of 300. Also the Birla Institute of Technology Noida has been ranked 60th out of 200 for Engineering college in India. According to a report the Birla Institute of Technology Noida has been ranked and appreciated by various organisations. Although there is no information available involvement of college in the NIRF Ranking of session 2023 and 2024.

Admission to MCA is strictly based on the scores/marks obtained in Institute's BIT MCA Entrance Exam. To appear for this exam candidates must meet the eligibility criteria that is they should have minimum 50% in their undergraduation. The cutoff marks of round 1 are listed below for general category students 260-275 whereas for SC - 74-78 and for ST category - 31-40. The cutoff may vary in round 2 or round 3.
