Hello, BIT Patna was formed in the year 2006 as a public private partnership between BIT Mesra and government of Bihar. Since them this institute has performed quite well and now almost after 20 years of its existence it boasts of a very good placements cell and also a very good placements statistics. The placement cell of the institute makes use of its alumni association and those of its students who are working in different companies to ensure that those companies do take part in the recruitment during placements season. One must understand the significance and difference between these two.         Normally cutoff is assigned or declared when there is a huge mismatch between availability of seats and demand for these seats.
