International students who wish to study in the USA at the University of Alabama at Birmingham must require a GPA of 3.66 or above to get into the university. Students must have a good score in high school classes for UAB admissions. Apart from this, students also need to submit the score of some additional exams.

A student who is over 18 years of age and studying an undergraduate programme at a university outside the UK or is registered as an international student at a UK university, is eligible for BISS. The students must be of good academic standing and meet the BISS English Language and subject-specific requirements as well. Academic programs include British Cultural Heritage, The Biomedical Science Research Challenges, English Language: Communicating with Confidence, Film & Media, Global Environmental Issues, and Mathematical Finance & Financial Time Series Analysis. These courses last for a period of three weeks.

That way, I would say that it would be best to go for IHM Mumbai which is known and one knows to which institution you are going.
Every college abroad isn't a big college.

Yes, full-time students are allowed to work part-time. You can contact the university to find out about availability of jobs on campus and off campus and stipends, etc.

Hi Vaishnavi,
I wonder if you checked the university website till now or not. Perhaps, you should first check to see which are the programs they offer and do they offer biomedical engineering or not. Just for your knowledge, they have a B.Sc program in biomedical material science. The biomedical engineering program is a PG course. Please first see their website and relevant admission requirements on the department's website.
