Yes, BIT Sindri provides scholarships based on merit of the candidates. It is awarded to only the students who meet the prescribed critetria. BIT Sindri admission to BTech programme is based on JEE Main score. Candidates selected based on JEE Main score have to come for JEECE Counselling. JEECE counselling is held online. Registered and eligible candidates will have to participate in the JEECE counselling process for admissions into the BTech courses offered by the participating institutes of the state. Since there is no entrance exam, the admissions will be done based on the candidate's JEE Main scores.

BIT Sindri offers BTech, MTech and PhD courses across 15 departments such as Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, etc. Candidates who have passed Class 12 can apply for UG courses. Graduation is necessary to apply for PG courses. Admission to UG and PG courses is based on specified entrance exam score.

Basically, there is no dress code specified by the institution but seniors specified the dress code.For 1st year you have to wear formal like white shirts and black pants.In the 2nd year, you can wear shirts but half a T-shirt is not allowed. In the 3rd year, you can wear half shirts and everything that you want.From the 4th year, you will be free from the Uniform.Note-Crocs and t-shirts are not allowed in the 1st year.
