There are only 2 quota systems. Home state and other state quota. If you are from Madhya Pradesh then the quota system for you would only be available in colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

Focus on Organic and inorganic Chemistry from NCERT book, that will be helpful. Study some questions from HC Verma for Physics are question come very close from the question bank in that book. Also study from NCERT for Mathematics sections. Its the best one. Do practice the questions and numerical for Physics as explained. It will be a lot helpful.

Hello Vishal,
You want to join BIT, Sindri by studying only what questions have been asked in the previous 18 years? Is it right? Are you going to mug up question answers or you are going to learn the topics covered by these questions? I am sure if you intention is to study the topics covered by different questions which have been asked in the 18 previous years you would have studied the complete syllabus and hence you will definitely do well in the current year. So from this perspective I am sure you will definitely get admission by this process.

For Mechanical engineering, I would suggest you go for Thapar Institute as it has better lab facilities, infrastructure, experienced faculty members and a better curriculum. I don't know much about Sindi so can't comment on that, but BIT is losing its name and values day-by-day so it's a no according to me. Rest is your own decision, do a proper research and decide wisely. All the best!

Whereas CUSAT is autonomous with main focus on marine, environmental science, with some marketable core branches. It is a little bit costlier too. So if anyone has inclination for specific branches which is not available at BIT,
