The average package is 3.5 lakhs and placement is around 50% for IT. It is more difficult to get placement from BIT-Sindri as a total 25 software companies had visited last year. They had offered between 3 LPA to 4 LPA.

Hi Shubham,
For admission into the mechanical branch of BIT-Sindri, you need a rank below 600 (and marks tend to change year by year). It basically depends upon the level of question papers but still on an average, a score more than 75 marks will land you into BIT-Sindri.
Best of luck!

Hello Vivek,
If you have compartment, it means you have not passed the exam. You can get admission, if you have passed qualifying exam. First, you need to pass the qualifying exam, and then you can get admission.

Both are very different streams. You can opt for the engineering branch that you love the most and passionate about and analyze the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission.
You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of aptitude, personality and career interest to clear confusion.
