Hello,
I am sorry to inform your score is not enough to get you an admission to any of the BITS campuses. The admission is provided only on the basis of your BITSAT score and the cutoff for last year for any branch in any campuses was at least 270+.

Yes, BITS Pilani offers ME programmes for BE graduates. But for that, you need to clear an entrance exam conducted for higher degree programmes.

After completing your 12th VIT will be best if you are considering affordable fee since VIT, BITS and MIT are of same standard but the fee structure of VIT is affordable as compared to VIT. There also if your rank is under 10000 or else BITS is the best college.

You can look for JP, Noida. I am not sure if they provide B.Tech in automobile or not but yes, they provide lateral entry so you can check that. There are many other colleges in Delhi-NCR providing lateral entry.

Usually score in the BITSAT exam is considered for admission. But board toppers of every state usually make it to BITS directly. But you have to score 75 % aggregate in maths / biology, physics, chemistry with at least 60 % in above mentioned subjects.

Usually to get branches above civil like mechanical, EEE, CSE the score as observed from previous years has to be at least 310 plus. But don't lose hope. Usually the cutoff marks increase every year but there was an announcement about rise in the number of seats this year in BITS.
