Revision is one of the most important steps of BITSAT preparation. Students should make sure that they revise regularly so that they do not forget what they have studied earlier. One of the advantages of revision is that the students will be constantly going through the syllabus so there will be lesser chances of forgetting important chapters and concepts. This will allow them to do well in the examination and have a higher chance of scoring well and getting admission into the preferred course and institute.

Preparing an effective timetable is very important to boost the BITSAT preparation. Students should prepare the timetable as per their capabilities so that is can bring out their full potential. While creating their study timetable, the students should ensure that the syllabus is well-divided so that they complete it before the examination. The topics should be divided into slots and should prevent monotony. This will allow the candidates to focus and study well. The timetable should also give enough time for regular revision and mock tests.

Mock tests are considered an essential part of the BITSAT preparation. Students are advised to regularly attempt mock tests so that they understand the pattern of the entrance examination. The mock tests will also allow the students to know the subject weightage and important topics to score more in the exam. Another advantage of mock tests is that the students will be able to check their preparation progress and commonly made mistakes. This is completely up to the discretion of the students. The students are advised to choose the path that they are comfortable with and which will ensure that it will bring them success in the examination. BITSAT can be cracked with self-study using the right books and a proper study plan. However, it totally depends on the student to either opt for coaching classes or to avoid them. In either of the cases, the students are advised to regularly revise and attempt BITSAT mock tests so that they are aware of their progress and commonly made mistakes.

The level of BITSAT is often considered to be on the same level as JEE Main. If the candidates work in the right direction with focus and determination, then they are on their way to easily crack BITSAT with the scores that they wish to secure for admissions into their preferred course and campus. The key factors while preparing for BITSAT are concept clarity, revision, practice, accuracy and time management. Candidates can check the previous year BITSAT papers to know the subjects and topics that have more weightage and higher chances of being repeated. In Physics the important topics are Electrostatics, Mechanics, Relative Motion and Electromagnetic Induction while in Mathematics, the important topics are Continuity, Quadratic equations, Coordinate geometry, Area under the curve, Algebra Limit, Calculus, Differentiation and Integration. For the Chemistry section, the important topics are Nitrogen, Oxygen, Biomolecule, Alkane, Noble Gases, Ionic Equilibrium and Polymer. No, the authorities of BITS Pilani have not revised the BITSAT 2023 syllabus. As per the official syllabus of BITSAT 2023, the subjects, topics and concepts that are to be studied is the same as the previous year. The official BITSAT 2023 syllabus is now available online at bitsadmission.com. Candidates will have to study topics from Physics Chemistry Mathematics, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. Candidates are advised to check and study the entire BITSAT syllabus to have a higher chance of performing well in the examination.

For BITSAT, the candidates will also have to prepare English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning sections. The section is designed to assess their general proficiency in the use of the English language as a means of self-expression in real-life situations and their reasoning abilities in verbal and nonverbal areas. In English the topics to be studied are Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension and Composition. For Logical Reasoning, the candidates will have to prepare Verbal Reasoning and Nonverbal Reasoning concepts.
