The reason is that IITs are more affordable and still more reputed than BITS Pilani. Being a private university, BITS charges more fee like around 15-16 lakhs for 4 years while in IITs, it is around 5-6 lakhs for 4 years.
The people who can afford that fee would appear for both JEE Advanced and BITSAT. They opt for BITS only if they don't get IITs.

IIT is one of the biggest government colleges in India. IIT provide great knowledge as well as placement, but BITS-Pilani is also a decent college. If you qualify both the exams, it means you are one of the best students in India.

The questions are available as hard copy by some publishers like Arihant, Disha, etc. So you may buy them online if you could not get the soft copy.

BITSAT (BITS admission test) is held later than the other exams, usually in the month of May only. The application forms will also be available only in the month of February or March only.
So, you need to refer the website www.bitsadmission.com for further updates.

(I)For admission to any of the First Degree programmes of BITS except B.Pharm: Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English.
