Chandigarh University, Unnao admit candidates to the BSc BMLT programme through CU Common Entrance Test (CUCET). This entrance test is conducted by Chandigarh University. The mode of exam is online. Candidates should get familiar with the CUCET exam pattern and solve previous years' papers to pass the exam and secure a good score. CUCET consists of 100 objective multiple choice questions. The exam include questions related to the respective course stream in Class 12 and a English section.

Candidates who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible to apply. Additionally, the student should have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subject:-Biology/Mathematics in Class 12. During form filling and admission, the students must have the pass certificates with them. These documents are required for verification purposes.

Cutoff veries each year depending upon number of applicants, seat availability and overall performance. High rank is necessary. Top 25 to 30 percentage applicants have chances to get admitted to this college for BMLT. Generally strong performance in CET is required.
