For admission to the MBA course at BMS College of Engineering, candidates are required to qualify for the basic eligibility criteria that stated candidates must complete their bachelor's degree with at least an aggregate of 50% in relevant subjects including language subjects. SC/ ST or Category-I candidates from Karnataka state must obtain a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination. Additionally, the selection process for MBA courses is based on the valid scores in  MAT/ CMAT/ KMAT/ Karnataka PGCET.

Candidate who have passed BE or BTech degree examination in the relevant discipline and have secured at least 50% aggregate taken together in all the subjects of all the semesters of the degree examination are eligible to apply for admission to the MTech programme offered at BMS College of Engineering. Minimum eligibility for BMS College of Engineering M.Tech admission is a minimum of 45% marks in qualifying examination for SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka state.

BMS College of Engineering eligibility criteria must be followed by candidates if they wish to take admission in the MBA programme. To get admission in the MBA programme, candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree examination from a recognised University and must have obtained minimum 50% aggregate taken together in all the subjects including language subject. SC/ ST or Category-I candidates from Karnataka state must obtain minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

BMS College of Engineering eligibility criteria varies according to different programmes offered by the institute at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and have obtained at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC, ST and Category-I candidates) in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Electronics or Computer Science as optional subjects can apply for admission to the BE programme offered at BMS College of Engineering.Candidates who want to take admission in the BE programme through management quota

Talking of Mechanical Engineering:
Thanks to the reservation system, it depends on your caste. If you're from SC/ST, a rank of somewhere around 200 would be enough. If you belong to the OBC categories then a rank of around 100150 would do. Here comes the big one!
If you're from general category, you need to have a rank of around 25! Yes it's 25 only. Speaking of other branches, you can just take twice the ranks I mentioned. Visit for details: http://www.btechadmission.co.in/.

Hi,
Since you have not registered for COMEDK the only option for a student from outside Karnataka to join BMSCA is through private management quota seat.

BMS College will not be available for that rank. You may try East West School of Architecture, BGSSAP or SJBSAP.

The Department of Computer Applications was established in 1984, initially with an intake of 30 students and the department admits 60 students every year at present.
Eligibility- 50% in graduation. Candidate must have completed graduation from any recognized University.
