In the most generic case, placements are dependent on universities and colleges from which students graduate like IITs, NITs and state level colleges, degree earned, the credibility of the students like marks, personality, technical acumen, practical exposure and project experience and certifications/recommendations. Also if there is any special requirement for a particular company it would be included as part of recruitment interview process.

The cutoff of BMS for the second round is 415. So, there are very less chances for you to get into BMS. But you can also try in JCE, Mysore. It's a good institute too.

As I see your rank, frankly speaking, it is very high. For admissions in RV and BMS, you need to be under 1000 and for other top colleges, the maximum rank is 15-18K.

25000 is a very high rank to get RV or BMS for any branch. Even you are not eligible for Sir M VIT and BIT in this rank.
