Don't change stream.Always focus in stream not college. Opt for cse/Eve if u are technical aspirant and not civil if u hd no plans previously about it. College matters 30% in future but stream matters Your whole life job.

The telecom faculty is strict. Otherwise the subjects are almost the same in electronics and instrumentation except for few in higher semesters.

Telecom is similar to ECE except for few subjects in the higher semesters. The faculty is pretty strict . The dept. focuses more on open ended experiments and mini projects. You have to be regular and sincere to score good marks.Number of companies do visit and recruit students (assured placements) but the pay scale is less initially. there is a better scope if you pursue higher studies abroad or look for a job abroad.
Companies that visit ; National Instruments, Deloitte, Fidelity, Robert Bosch, HP (RND), Accenture, WIPRO, IBM, Thorogood Associates, Fractal Analytics, etc.

Hi,
All the branches of engineering are equally good and have tremendous job opportunities. It entirely depends on how well you understand and handle the stream and increase your scope of growth. To decide on the course, you should analyse your strengths, career goals, interests, personality, aptitude and ability. -your career goal
-the type of job you want to do
Both the institutes mentioned by you are equally good and thus it will be very difficult
