The application deadlines for international students at Boston College for 2024 are as follows: Early Decision I was closed at November 1, 2023 Spring Freshman Deadline was also November 1, 2023 Whereas, Regular Decision: April 1, 2024 International Student Deadline: April 8, 2024 Final Application Deadline: May 6, 2024 The College has rolling admissions through May 6, with specific application review dates.

To be considered for admission to Boston College, international students must achieve a minimum score of 100 on the TOEFL iBT and TOEFL iBT Home Edition tests. The minimum required scores for other language tests are as follows:IELTS: 7.5PTE: 68Boston College does not accept the TOEFL MyBest score or the Duolingo English Test. The university has adopted a test-optional policy for first-year applicants to the Classes of 2027.

Boston University offers merit-based scholarships such as the Trustee Scholarship and the Presidential Scholarship to international students. There are external scholarships available to Indian students, such as the Higher Education Scholarship Test for Indian Students (HEST 2024). Through the Gabelli Presidential Scholars Programme, new freshmen can apply for scholarships to Boston College. As long as they meet the November 1 priority scholarship deadline, candidates for the Presidential Scholarship will be considered for both the Regular Decision and Early Decision categories.

Yes, an average Indian student can join Boston College. It does not have any specific requirement and thus, very feasible for Indian students to apply. They must submit an application through the Common Application and demonstrate English proficiency by submitting TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test examination results. The university requires that all candidates submit their applications electronically and submit a self-reported transcript with course names translated into English. The applicants are required to hold a college or university degree equivalent to a four-year U.S. bachelor's degree.

For the academic year, the total number of international undergraduate and graduate students increased by 5% over the previous year to 1,827. The total international student population, including students working in their field of study after graduation, faculty, research scholars, and dependents, stands at 2,595, constituting nearly half of BC’s entire international student population.
