Yes, it can be considered easy to find part-time jobs while studying at Boston College. The university itself offers on-campus student jobs, and students with Federal Work-Study (FWS) awards are eligible to work off-campus through the Off-Campus FWS Program. The Career Center also provides resources and advices to help students to succeed in their on-campus job applications. Additionally, students can use Handshake, a centralized employement platform.

Globally, Massachusetts Institute of Technology ranks 1st in the world while Boston College ranking is 601-650 in the world by QS World University ranking 2024. But, according to students reviews, BC has way more ACTIVE alumni IN BOSTON than MIT and in New England in general. Boston College offers solid biochemistry and chemistry programs and it was also good in computer vision at one point. These are the few points that makes a Boston College perfect choice than MIT in Boston.
