Yes, UMass Boston is a dry campus. This means that alcohol is not allowed on campus or in the residence halls, regardless of students' age. On top of this, the university is a smoke-free campus. Violation of alcohol rules may result in immediate removal from the building and cancellation of the housing agreement.

The University of Massachusetts Boston campus size is 120 acres. More than 16,000 call the university as their home. When it comes to the number of international students, more than 2,400 students are there at UMass Boston. For students, there are 100 student clubs, 18 Division III NCAA teams and many student organizations and cultural events at the university.

UMass Boston MS in Finance programme participates in the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. Furthermore, the university’s MSF programme is STEM-designated.
