I am a student freon Biology stream. So, I can surely say that geology and botany have more scope in India. Geology can take you to so many of private, semi-governmental, and governmental jobs in India with interesting works and salary. By doing B.Sc in any of the courses of pure science, you can't guarantee yourself a stable future in today's world as the value of the degree is not much. But after your B.Sc., you can do your M.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D. You can end up being a college lecturer or a research scientist.

Being a botony undergraduate, you are eligible for all entrance exams to study M.Sc botony, M.Sc plantbiotechnology. By doing M.Sc botony, you will be selected as a lecturer for junior colleges and also for degree colleges.
