To get admission to Maya Somaiya School of Music and Performing Arts, there is no entrance exam required.  Students are selected based on their performance in the previous qualifying exam and performance in online/offline audition tests conducted by the college. Candidates who pass Class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognised board with a minimum of 40% aggregate with Music as one of the subjects are likely to get admission to the Maya Somaiya School of Music and Performing Arts BPA course.

Candidates are required to meet the basic eligibility criteria for admission to BPA. The basic eligibility for BPA is to pass Class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognised board with a minimum of 40% aggregate with Music as one of the subjects. After fulfilling the eligibility criteria candidates need to apply online for admission and appear for online and offline audition tests conducted by the college for final seat confirmation.

The admission process of BPA at JG College is quite lengthy. The process begins with the submission of an application form. Further, there is a personal interaction and assessment with a university representative. This personal interaction helps in assessing whether the candidate is suitable for the programme or not.
