The candidate must have passed Certificate of Health Science (General Medicine, Health Lab, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Health Education and Sanitation, Ayurveda, Ophthalmology, Nursing, etc.) with minimum 50% marks (in aggregate) of the Grand Total Or ISC or 10+2 or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks (in aggregate) of the grand total with Biology, English, Physics, and Chemistry as the main subjects.The candidate must have secured not less than 50% marks in both theory and practice in each of the PCB Subjects-Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. An entrance examination is held to select candidates on the basis of merit.

Candidates for admission to BPH course should have completed a higher secondary level or pre-university college (10 +2) in any stream.
(Note: Candidates from other than science stream will undergo a bridge course of 2 months in college, where there will be no exams for this).
Or
Candidates completing a 3-year Diploma in Allied Health Sciences after class 10th.
Or
Candidates completing 2 years Diploma in Allied Health Sciences after pre-university college (10+2).
Or
Equivalent course established under law considered equivalent thereto by RGUHS.
The minimum of 40% marks obtained. In case of SC/ST candidates a pass in 10+2 or equivalent.
