BPT Eligibility

To be eligible for the BPT programme at KJ Somaiya College of Physiotherapy, candidates must meet all of the following criteria :Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification:candidates should have passed their 12th class examination or equivalent from the Maharashtra Higher Secondary School Board, or any other equivalent board.The subjects required for the exam are English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).Minimum Marks:Generally, an aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying examination is required.Entrance Test:The marks scored by students in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET would decide admission.More About ItYour score is 250 marks in NEET. However, these can be considered for admissions based on the cutoff trend, which varies every year during the admission process.  After satisfying the eligibility criteria, a candidate has to register and undergo the admission procedure through document verification and payment of fee.

The following prerequisites are normally met to be eligible for admission to the NITTE Institute of Physiotherapy's Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program:Educational Requirements: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 exam from an accredited or equivalent board. English should have been studied as an elective in addition to Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as required subjects.Minimum Marks: In most cases, candidates must have earned at least 50% of their total points in biology, chemistry, and physics. Candidates who fall into one of the reserved groups (SC, ST, OBC, etc.) may be eligible for a minimum percentage reduction, usually of 5%.Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 17 on December 31st of the year they apply.Medical Fitness: To guarantee that they are physically capable of meeting the demands of the physiotherapy course, candidates must also fulfil the medical fitness requirements established by the institute.
