North East Frontier Technical University (NEFTU), Arunachal Pradesh, accepts students into the BPT program who have passed their 10+2 examination with some emphasis on subjects such as biology, physics, and chemistry. A minimum of 45 percent aggregate percentage is acceptable from all the applicants belonging to the general category, while the reserved category students will accept a minimum of 40 percent aggregate percentage. Sometimes, a candidate may also be screened by clearing an entrance test conducted by NEFTU or from the results secured through any national or state-level entrance examination.

The eligibility criteria or BPT is as follows:Students who have completed Class 12 with Science as their major subject are eligible to apply for a BPT course.The candidate should have pursued the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their main subjects.A minimum aggregate score of 50% or equivalent at the Class 12 level is mandatory for admission.Some universities in India conduct an entrance test for admitting students to the BPT course. Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for Rajasthan University of Health Sciences BPT programme. Candidates applying for BPT must have completed the age of 17 years but not completed 28 years in case of females and 25 years in case of males on or before December 31 of the admission year.

Admission to BPT at Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy is supposed to be based on completing eligibility criteria most of which require a 10+2 with Science subjects that include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, along with minimum percentage marked by the college. Yes, candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 50% aggregate to apply for MVGU BPT programme. The selection for BPT is based on merit of the aspirants in the qualifying exam. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.
