Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree ProgramBPT deals with helping the body treat itself by using physical forces like heat, pressure, electricity, etc. BPT doctors do not use drugs in their medication process. Students will complete the course in 4 years and then participate in a 6-month mandatory internship at a recognized hospital.
BPT course graduates can work as Sports Physio Rehabilitators, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, or Consultants with an average salary of INR 5,00,000. In India, BPT salaries range from INR 25,000 to INR 35,000 per month. Some of the courses that students can do after the BPT course are MPT, MBA Course, or MPT Sports Physiotherapy.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a five year undergraduate programme. You must have passed 10+2 with 35% marks each in Physics Chemistry Biology Botany, or Zoology. Also, you should have attained the age of 17 on or before December 31 of the academic year. The admission will be based on the score on the computer-based test, followed by an interview. In the month of February, the BPT application form is made available online on the official website of CMC Vellore. The registration fee is Rs 500 and includes a basic administrative fee of Rs 800. You will get admission to CMC Vellore if you are successfully shortlisted in the CBT and interview.

There are 20 seats with following seat allocation, 10 seats for General Category, 03 seats for SC Category, 02 /01 seats for alternate years for ST Category and 05 seats for OBC (non-creamy layer) category.

QUALIFICATIONS - Intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent with Science subjects Physics Chemistry. Biology and English from a recognised Board / University with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE) for the General Category, 40% for OBC (non-creamy layer)/SC/ST, 45% for PC in General Category) Those who are appearing for the Intermediate or equivalent examination but the results are not declared shall be permitted to appear in the Entrance Test.
