New Brisbane Scholarship offers up to 30% discount on your total tuition costs. To avail of this scholarship, international students must maintain a full-time study load, 1 EFTSL over a 12-month study period, must display an IELTS (or equivalent) 6.5 overall band above entry requirements and must display a minimum of a credit average in previous studies completed (for undergraduate students this refers to previous high school studies, and for postgraduate students, this refers to previous Bachelor degrees).

If you are going for a UG programme, yes, this score is enough. However, your 54 points in PTE can not be converted as 6 band in each module as you have mentioned. It may be equal, but universities will insist 60 in each. Nothing wrong in applying and trying for it.

University of Melbourne is a good college to go for Diploma in civil engineering.There are whole lot of other good colleges too where you can loom into like Site institute Brisbane, Australian college of Technology and business, Australian institute of advanced studies,The University of Queensland. These are some of the good colleges where you can do advanced diploma in civil engineering.
