An overall score of 7.5 is required for IELTS with 7.0 in all skills. For TOEFL, an overall score of 103 is required with R = 24, L = 22, S = 25, and W = 24 in each section. If you belong to a country where English is not the official language, then you need to provide proof of your English-language proficiency through IELTS, TOEFL, etc. They are mandatory exams for those students whose first language is not English.

You need to achieve the required level of English to get into the university in your selected program. However, you do not need to have reached the required level before you apply. The university first looks at your academic qualifications and if you don’t match the English level requirement then you need to take an IELTS academic test.
