The student must have passed a 10+2 or above examination from a recognised board. The compulsory subjects need to be Physics and Mathematics. The third Science subject can be Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject. Minimum marks requirement in the qualifying exam is 50% aggregate. For SC and ST candidates, the minimum marks requirement is reduced by 5% (45%).PSIT may take into consideration scores from entrance exams such as JEE Main or UPSEE for admission in B.Tech.
