The eligibility criteria for BTech course admissions at  IIITDM Jabalpur is that the candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate. Moreover, the entrance exams accepted include JEE Main and  DASA UG. Eligible candidates who have cleared the national-level entrance test.can apply online by visiting the official website.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 55% aggregate in PCB or PCM are eligible to take admission. In addition, the students with 80% and above aggregate in Class 12 (CBSE/ISC/State-Boards) are exempted from the selection process. Further, depending upon the BTech specialisation, the candidate should have studied particular subjects in class 12, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) or Biology (PCB). Candidates who have qualified JEE Main/ MHT CET/ CUET/ SAT India/ SSPU Entrance Test/ PERA CET need to sumit their applications for the BTech course. Additionally, aspirants must complete Class 12 with relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for the reserved category with Maharashtra domicile) to apply for BTech course. Admission will be provided based on entrance exam score followed by a counselling round. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate in PCM are eligible to take admission to BTech courses. Further, it is also necessary that the applicant qualify for JEE Main and JoSAA counselling. Candidates shall have academic certificates as well for verification purposes to prove their eligibility.

For admission to BTech at Hindustan University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The next step of the selection criteria is to qualify for an entrance exam. The university conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Examination (HITSEEE), which needs to be qualified with a valid score. This entrance exam is specifically conducted by HITS for admission of candidates to its BTech course. This exam is valid for both BTech and BTech (Lateral Entry) course. For the National Institute of Technology Goa BTech admission, candidates are required to pass Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as an optional subject with a minimum aggregate of 75%. Apart from the minimum eligibility criteria, NIT Goa also considers the JEE Main score to admit students to its BTech course.

Candidates applying for BTech programme must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks in PCM from a recognised board. The applicant with 50 per cent marks in Mathematics at Class 12 level can also apply. Final selection is done on the basis of score in KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical Entrance Test.
