Selection criteria at Priyadarshini College of Engineering and Technology for B.E./B.Tech: Eligibility: – 10+2 Minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories)Science at the core with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biology Admission Process: 1. Entrance exams: JEE Main, MHT CET, NEET2. The merit list prepared by relying solely on the entrance tests scores3. In the first ten minutes of each session, a counselor sits with students, often in their preferred large bean bag chairs, to discuss their progress and provide advice on seat selection. Weightage: - Entrance exam scores (70%)- 10+2 marks (30%) Documents Required: - 10+2 marks sheet- Entrance exam scorecard- Transfer certificate– Other relevant papers (including the category certificate if any). Note: Even admissions may be different according to the management/NRI quota seats.

To be eligible for a B.E. or B.Tech course at Government Engineering College, Erode, you must meet the following minimum requirements:Pass the 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45%  If you passed the 10+2 in a vocational subject, you must also have passed an engineering-related subject like Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics  If you are an SC/ST candidate, you only need to pass the qualifying exam  If you are a BC/BC (Muslim) candidate, you need a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics  If you are an MBC/DNC candidate, you need a minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics  Candidates who have completed a Diploma in a relevant stream from a recognised institution are also eligible for lateral entry.  

Eligibility for admission in B.E./B.Tech at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology is: 45% aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology. Candidates must have an appearance in the KCET/COMEDK/JEE Main exams. The minimum ranks required for admission into the college are: KCET - rank between 50,000-70,000, COMEDK - rank between 50,000-80,000, JEE Main - rank between 50,000-100,000. Admissions are made on lateral entry basis to the 2nd year with 45% in 3-year Diploma or equivalent with Mathematics. Reservation is made based on government guidelines. Total intake is for 840 seats spread across 8 branches.
