Asansol Engineering College offers 4-year BTech course in nine different specialisations. Candidates seeking admission in the 1st year of AEC BTech should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCM. Those seeking admission in the 2nd year of BTech course should either pass Diploma course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy from an AICTE recognised Polytechnic/Institute with at least 60% marks or pass 12th with maths as a subject and a degree in Science (BSc) from a UGC approved universities with at least 60% marks.

Aspirants need to complete Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship and English with at least 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for JUET BTech. Aspirants appearing for the Class 12 exam can also apply.

The eligibility criteria for BTech in AI courses in India may differ from college to college. However, the basic eligibility criteria for B Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science colleges in India are as follows:Candidates must have earned a passing grade in Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics in the Class 12 exam with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognised board. For admissions, candidates must take standard entrance exams like JEE Main, TNEA, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET,  and other university-specific entrance exams in addition to their Class 12 results.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at RCIIT, Kolkata, the candidate has to score a minimum of 60% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. The be eligibe for KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology it may vary depending on the course and level of study say for B.Tech admissions, you must have completed their 10+2 board exams in the Science stream with a minimum of 50 percentage marks and for postgraduate courses, you must have passed a recognised bachelor’s degree with 50 percentage and for reserved category its arround 45 percentage.
