Admission is based on the scores obtained in these exams followed by a counseling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. With 44.50% in 12th, options for B.Tech colleges are limited to private institutions that may accept lower percentages based on merit alone. Some private universities might consider your 12th marks for admission, even with a lower percentage, especially if you are from the same state as the university . Some of them are SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Manipal Institute of Technology, and Amity University, and some more like them with donations.
