Though there aren't as many as there are for other engineering specialties Maharashtra does have a number of institutions offering B.Tech programs in aeronautical engineering. Among the well-known universities is the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), located in Pune and renowned for its aerospace-specific programs. The PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research offers a wide range of degree courses - B.Tech, BE, MBA, B.Sc and PGDM. The annual fee for pursuing B.Tech is INR 55,000 for the 1st year.
