The applicants need to pass the higher secondary education (12 grades) with a minimum percentage of marks, i.e., 45 marks (40 for reserved categories) in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to get admission in B.Tech programs of Assam Science and Technology University.The aspiring candidates are also required to have a qualifying Combined Entrance Examination-C.E.E. conducted by the Assam government or any other recognised national entrance exams like JEE Main. Final selection depends upon their performance in the entrance examination and the stipulated eligibility condition.

Yes, the placements are good, but the university itself does not have much reputation, and there are not so many industry tied-up connections when it comes to salaries.
