For BTech course admission, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. Aspiarnts should pass Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one relevant subject with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of reserved category candidates). The admission criteria for the course is JEE Main + REAP counselling.

The university conducts various rounds of this exam so that students can choose a time that suits them best. No, JLU Bhopal BTech admissions are entry-based. The university conducts an in-house entrance test, namely Jagran LakeCity University Entrance Test. Students seeking admission to this programme must register and appear for the aforementioned exam. Based on these scores, students are ranked and further evaluated based on an PI session. Apart from admissions, students are also offered scholarsihps based on JULET scores.
