The selection criteria for the B.E. / B.Tech courses at Tamilnadu College of Engineering (TCE) are mainly based on the candidate's performance in entrance exams. For candidates seeking admission under the Tamil Nadu state quota, the admission process is carried out through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) based on the candidate's Class 12 marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with no separate entrance exam required.
