The reason why VISET is a good choice for B.Tech and BE courses because VISET is a popular and reputed engineering college in Mumbai. The academic qualifications, infrastructure, facilities , affiliation , pass percentage rate has given a great impression of the college. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for careers in engineering by developing the skills and knowledge needed in the industry. They have a good placement percentage also.

If you are a Maharashtra citizen then, No. You must pass MAH CET, a state entrance exams conducted by Maharashtra gvt.Admission is based on merit and counseling based on the rank obtained in the MHT CET. But if you scored more in JEE you can get in admission. Eventhough the college gives a priority to MHT-CET also.

If you meet the eligibility requirements for the B.E/B.Tech of the institute then that is the selection criteria. The minimum requirement is 10th, and 12th should pass with a minimum 45% . This is the basic criteria. You must have decent marks in JEE exam.
