Eligibility criteria for admission to B.E./B.Tech in Tamilnadu College of Engineering are: 10+2 with 50% aggregate (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and having Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational as compulsory subjects. Candidates have to appear for counselling in TNEA, which is the short form for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions. Management quota eligibility: 50% aggregate in 10+2 (PCM). The other requirement is a valid score in JEE Main above the 60 percentile. Additionally, 5% of seats are reserved for lateral entry through Diploma or (link unavailable) Admission criteria: Total 10+2 marks percentage = 45%, entrance examination marks = 30%, personal interview = 25%.
