It is tough to compare which institute is easier to get admission into for BTech courses among IIIT Pune and IIITDM Jabalpur because the BTech admission process for all IIITs is almost the same, in which candidates are required to complete their Class 12 from PCM/B stream with a minimum of 75%, and then candidates have to appear for the JEE Mains entrance examination, followed by JoSAA counselling.Additionally, the number of BTech seats offered at IIIT Pune is 345, whereas at IIITDM Jabalpur it is 552. In order to be admitted to Babasaheb Naik College of Engineering for a B.E./B.Tech degree, one is required to go through either the MHT-CET or the JEE Main entrance examination depending on the admitted criteria. Upon passing, you then take part in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) organised by the Government of Maharashtra. Generally, B.Tech cutoff in DES Pune University is more or less done strictly based on MHT CET scores, though it also enrolls students by considering the scores obtained in JEE Main for some seats. The cutoff trends in 2024 seem pretty normal, just like other years were, according to the applicant numbers, reserved categories, number of seats, and all the data related to previous cutoffs.
