Vellore Institute of Technology has a total seat intake of 1080 for BTech CSE branch at the Vellore campus. The seat allotment is done based on sanctiones seat intake and as per selection criteria. For course completion, the candidates have to earn the required credits. The institute has divided the credits among different category of subjects. Among this, the highest credit is for the programme core subjects. VIT Vellore BTech CSE course syllabus consists of subjects categories as programme core, programme elective, university core, and university elective. There are abou 34 programme electives in the curriculum. The aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent pass with at least 60% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ST/applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North-Eastern states) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply. However, the qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board. Yes, BTech is offered by Vellore Institute of Technology at its Vellore campus. It is a flagship programme of the institute. As per the latest 2025 VITEEE Brochure, the institute is offering four-year BTech across 20+ specialisations. For admission, the candidates must meet the eligibility requirements and pass the selection rounds. The selection is done based on VITEEE rank/score. This entrance test is conducted by the institute. The eligible studenta can apply via online mode through VIT official website.

The institute offers BTech under various specialisations in various disciplines of Engineering. Admission is entrance exam-based. JEE Mains dates for session one and session two have been released on the official website of NTA for admission to BTech courses at IIIT Pune. The admission dates have been released, candidates can attend the examination in their chosen session (s). Once the result is announced, they can verify their scores and appear for JoSAA counselling, and in the choice filling select IIIT Pune. Moreover, the admission process usually concludes in the month of June.

Yes, IIIT Pune does offer a BTech course in the Computer Science and Engineering specialisation. To get admission into this specialisation, the admission procedure is the same candidates must complete the basic eligibility criteria (Class 12 in PCM with 75%), and secondary eligibility to gain a good score in JEE Mains. In this specialisation, the core courses include a detailed study of data structures,  programming languages,  algorithms, and computer networks.

The total fee for BTech courses at IIIT Pune includes multiple components, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, admission fees, and various one-time charges.
