Both Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) and Tezpur University are great for B.Tech programs in India, but they differ in some ways:ASTU is the only technical university in the North Eastern Region of India. Government College of Engineering is considered good for the B.Tech courses. Better infrastructure, highly qualified and experienced faculty members, an updated curriculum concerning industries-the college is expected to provide good service with relatively lower fees than that in private colleges. The faculty members will be highly qualified, usually with a higher degree, and the placements are also quite good. Apart from this, government engineering colleges generally have good laboratory facilities for practical knowledge exposure. Fundamentally, Government College of Engineering would be one of the better choices in having a degree in B.Tech. as it is offering academic excellence along with career relevance.
