Choosing Wells College over Hawaii Pacific University for a B.Tech in the USA is primarily due to Wells College's significantly stronger reputation and focus on STEM fields, particularly engineering, compared to Hawaii Pacific University, which is more recognised for its business and liberal arts programs, with a weaker engineering presence; additionally, Wells College offers a more traditional college experience with a smaller campus environment, while Hawaii Pacific University is located in a bustling urban setting in Honolulu, Hawaii.
