As per the last year data, candidates are required to contact on the official e-mail ID of the respective department head to fill the provisional admission process. Selected aspirants need to pay a fee of INR 5,500 to lock the seat. This amount is adjusted in course fee after the confirmation of the admission.

The Institute of Engineering & Technology offers BTech programme in seven different specialisations. The final selection in some specialisations is on the basis of the AKTU Entrance Test score, whereas for some specialisations the university also conducts its entrance test. The specialisations where both AKTU Entrance Test and University-level entrance test are accepted, the seats are equally divided among these two qualified candidates. In such cases, 50% of total seats are offered to candidates qualifying for the AKTU Entrance Test and 50% to candidates qualifying for the University-level entrance test.
