Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology offers a four-year BE/BTech programme at the UG level.The eligibility criteria for BTech admission is a Class 12 with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.Students who meet the minimum eligibility criteria and have a valid score on the JEE Main exam can apply.The college every year releases a separate cut-off list for admission and with a rank of 116509 in JEE 2024 taking admission may or may not be possible. The candidate is supposed to check the cut-off list before taking admission.

You need to apply for the courses on the official site by filling a application form. The forms for getting admission to Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology are generally out after the results of JEE MAINS examinations are declared.

To answer your question, VSSUT Burla admission is not based on percentage obtained in class 12, but on performance in state and national level qualifying exams like JEE Main, GATE and OJEE. Admission to B.Tech programs is in the merit list announced by JEE Main, while admission to M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Phil programs are based on examinations conducted by the university so you score 60 per cent score in the board exam cannot directly affect your eligibility for VSSUT Burla. The rank of JEE Mains in general category is so far. The admission in any of the top universities or colleges is literally not possible. You can take and you will be given admission in these universities but their branches are in rural area.
