Work experience is not required to apply for the MS in Business Analytics programme at Columbia University. However, the college recommends that prospective students have some professional experience, either in the form of a full time position or an internship. Moreover, gaining such practical experience is beneficial not only in translating theory into practice, but also in distinguishing between students on the curve.

In total,  Bihar National College or BN College has 60 seats for the BBA programme. The college is affiliated to Patna University. Hence, the allocation of BBA seats at the college is based on the centralised counselling process conducted by the university. Admission against these seats is provided to eligible applicants on the basis of their Class 12 merit, and college/course preference filled while applying, subject to availability of seats. BBA at BN College is a three-year programme. The course duration is further divided into six semesters. Each semester lasts six months. The BBA curriculum followed at the college is prescribed by the affiliating university, i.e. Patna University. It is based on the CBCS scheme and comprises core subjects, general electives, SECs and AECCs. Some subjects included in the curriculum are Business Environment, Marketing Management, Customer Relationship Management, etc. Students must also undertake a project/on-the job training/dissertation during the last semester of the programme.
